Amit has been slected from India as a breakout session speaker for TechED conference of Microsoft held every year in the US. He will be speaking on SQL Server 2008 at a breakout session at TechED in June 2008 at Orlando, US.

Amit has been selected as a technical reviewer by Microsoft for its SQL Server 2008 courses

Amit becomes the first MCT/MVP from Sout East Asia to feature as a speaker at MCT Summit Jan 2008 in Singapore. He presented 3 sessions on SQL Server 2008.

Amit becomes a member of the MCT Advisory Council representing the Asia Pacific region. Yet another first for him.

Amit is the first and the only MCT in India to be invited by Microsoft to proctor 27 sessions at TechEd 2007, Orlando, USA.

Amit is the first MCT/MVP from Sout East Asia to participate in Objective Domain Session for Exam 70-432 on SQL Server 2008 at Redmond in Dec 07.

Continuing his achievements, Amit was recently invited by Microsoft to be a speaker at MCT (Microsoft Certified Trainer) Summit held in Singapore, in the month of Jan 2008. Amit presented 3 sessions on SQL Server 2008. Amit, during the summit, was announced to be a member of the Microsoft Certified Trainer Advisory Council. There are 7 council members representing different parts of the world. Amit, now being one of them will represent the Asia Pacific region. Bill Chapman, the World wide MCT program manager, announced this during his keynote speech at the opening ceremony of the summit. Amit was also invited by Microsoft to be an HOL proctor at Microsoft’s largest event – Teched 2007, to be held at Orlando, USA, in the month of June 2007. TechEd, acronym for Technical Education, is Microsoft’s largest technical event, a premiere conference where more than 14000 delegates including, software engineers, architects, IT professionals, Information workers and IT decision makers participate and collaborate on latest and upcoming Microsoft Technologies. Amit would proctored 27 technical sessions in total. This achievement makes Amit the first and the only Microsoft Certified Trainer in India to be invited by Microsoft at a global event of such a large scale.
